Finding a Job

K

We receive many requests from citizens of other countries who are looking for jobs in America. If you are a foreign worker, please note that WAFLA does not do foreign recruiting directly.

If you are a U.S. worker (commonly referred to as a “domestic worker”) looking for a job in agriculture, there are three primary ways to find farm jobs:

  1. Direct contact with the employer via phone, email, in person, etc.
  2. Visit your State Workforce Agency (SWA) in person or online. All H-2A and H-2B jobs must be posted by your SWA. In Washington, WorkSource posts these jobs at its website. WorkSource in Oregon posts its job listings here. Contact WorkSource or the employer to apply.
  3. Visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s website that lists all H-2A jobs. The site is seasonaljobs.dol.gov. Contact the employer to apply for a job.
